The selected hotels in Sydney are in the historic area "The Rocks", by far the best place for walking and sightseeing. The exception is Manly Waterfront Apartments at Manly, a beautiful suburban seaside location.
 
Day 1 Arrive Sydney and transfer to the hotel of your choice. Refer to the listing below.
Day 2 and Day 3 Sydney, the city on the harbour, epitomises the Australian way of life. Sydney offers the unique combination of a harbour side city, fringed by spectacular sandy beaches, and   national parks. The pleasant year-round temperatures are perfect for watersports on Sydney's magnificent waterways and beaches or picknicking in shady parklands. The city also hosts some of Australia's best festivals and events have included the Olympic Games  2000.
  • A trip on the harbour is an essential part of any visit to Sydney. Circular Quay, very close to your hotel, is the hub for all major harbour journeys.
  • Visit Sydney Opera House, home to Australia's opera, ballet, theatre and orchestras. Also just a short walk from your hotel.
  • Drive or walk across nearby Sydney Harbour Bridge, which offers panoramic views of the city skyline.
  • The view from Sydney Tower gives an all round overview of the city and across to the Blue Mountains.
  • Step outside your hotel and stroll through the Rocks, an historic area with dozens of cafes and restaurants, boutiques and pubs, as well as Sydney's oldest houses.
  • The Rocks Markets, with over 100 stalls, are held every weekend.
  • Hyde Park, The Domain and Centennial Park provide pleasant picnic locations in the city and surrounds.
  • A Must see is the Royal Botanical Gardens, 24 hectares of beautiful gardens set on the harbour and a  walk away.
  • The Art Gallery of New South Wales, housing one of the most comprehensive collections in Australia including a fine Aboriginal art display.
