1 |
Take
delivery of a self-drive car and depart Brisbane for the LamingtonNational Park. The journey is just over two hours
drive, the last section beinga long and winding road. Do not leave it too
late to arrive.

The famous O'Reilly's Rainforest Guesthouse is
set in the Lamington
National Park, which covers an area of 20,200 hectares of varying
virgin forest.From temperate beech forest, high on the border
ranges, to the warm sub-tropical rainforest, the dry eucalypt forest in
the lower valleys. The park offers 160 km. of walking trails, 500 waterfalls
and over 100 varieties of birdlife. The park provides food and shelter
for Australia's largest array of sub-tropical birdlife, and many reptiles
and mammals. Spectacular views, the rugged mountain ranges and the cascading
waterfalls, are all part of the area. Due to the unusual characteristics
of the Lamington National Park, it has been listed for World Heritage. |

Depart Lamington
National Park for the picturesque town of Montville, north of
Brisbane.

In Montville
First settled in 1887, Montville has a true village charm. It also offers
spectacular panoramic views over the coastal plain.Enjoy the myriad of art galleries, pottery, studios,
craft cottages, fashion houses, gift and antique shops, specialty shops
and more. Montville also offers award-winning restaurants, tearooms and
cafes, both indoors and out. Surrounding countryside is particularly beautiful
and offers scenic walks, waterfalls and lush rainforest. Tranquil waters
provide picnic areas, walking tracks, fishing, sailing and canoeing. |

Continue to Australia's most elegant seaside
resort town, Noosa Heads.

So many superlatives have been used to describe Noosa that anything you
say these days sounds like a cliché.
A subtropical paradise with sparkling water, soft clean sand,sheltered bays, brilliant blue skies,
sophisticated shopping, sidewalk cafes, gourmet
dining, and abundant wild life. All these things have been said
yet to say anything less wouldn't be right. Noosa is one of the finest,
most beautiful places in the world. |
