| Transfer to Taipei City and visit the beautiful Lin An-Tai House. The Lin An - Tai | |
| homestead, a 30 - room Ching dynasty - era family home on Pinchiang Street in | |

Taipei, offers a rare look into the way of life in China’s past. Intricate

| stone and woodcarvings decorate the home, complementing the grace and beauty | |
| of its classical Chinese architecture. Built in 1820’s by a family of wealthy | |
| merchants,
the house was carefully dismantled in the late 1970’s and moved to its
present site. |

| Continue to
the Chiang Kai Shek Memorial Hall, a majestic marble monument surrounded by landscaped gardens and placid
ponds. |
|
| It is a popular gathering place and the location of the National Theater and Concert Hall. A ground - level library displays photos and | |
| mementos of the late president’s life. | |
| Check
in at the spectacular palace style hotel. Dinner at The Mongolian Barbeque

| Restaurant
in town, then proceed to Lungshan Temple and the Hwa-Hsia Night |

| Market.

| The morning includes a visit to the Martyrs’ Shrine, an excellent example of | |
| classic
Ming dynasty architecture, dedicated to the fallen heroes of China’s wars.

| It has a majestic archway, tranquil paths, and an interesting hourly changing of the guard ceremony. Continue to the National Palace Museum. | |
| The National Palace Museum is the world’s largest collection of Chinese art, spanning China’s 5,000 year history. | |
| Treasures
from the ancient imperial collection include jade, porcelain, paintings,
bronzes and more. Pieces on display are changed regularly.

| Lunch at a famous tea house, located five minutes ride from the museum. The tea house serves tea Chinese style and Taiwanese food. | |
| It has a very relaxing atmosphere and if the weather is good, one can sit outdoors. | |
| In
the afternoon return to the National Palace Museum. |

| Dinner
at a restaurant in town; either Sichuanese or Hunanese cuisine. |

| Day 3 | Breakfast
in the hotel. |
| Depart
at 10 am for Chang’s Foundation Museum. This is the largest privately-owned
museum in Asia and has a big collection of priceless Chinese art |
|
| treasures.
|
|
| Late check - out has been arranged. There is an interesting Flower Market and Jade Market (open on Saturdays and Sundays) | |
| which
you might like to visit.
