The M.V. ¡§Lagoon Explorer¡¨ a 10 cabin motor yacht has returned to the Philippines. Four-day cruises depart twice a week, Monday and Thursday.          ¡V Highly recommended.

 

Technical Description of the Lagoon Explorer

The Lagoon Explorer is a motorized catamaran with 10 cabins,

 all air-conditioned  with private WC and shower. (Deck plans right)

 The Islands

Day 1             Depart Hong Kong flight to Manila.  (Times depend on carrier chosen, we can arrange overnight stop in Manila, if required, see below under COSTS)

Under own resources, transfer to Domestic terminal for flight to Yulo King Ranch airstrip in Busuanga. Depart Manila on Seair flight DG431, leaving at 0715, arrive Busuanga 0820. Upon arrival, you will be transferred by Jeepney to Coron town via the rustic scenery of Busuanga. At the pier, you will be met by your cruise director for immediate boarding. Sail to a tropical island for swimming and snorkeling before dinner and overnight.

Day 2             Welcome sunrise with breakfast, while we take you to an island town.  Walk around town with stops at the ancient stone church and the market. Quench that thirst with fresh coconut juice before heading back to the boat for lunch and proceed to a secluded island of fine white sand, perfect for sunbathing and exploring the marine life.

SCBA diving from the boat is an additional cost item, with each dive costing US$35 or US$45 for beginners, this includes all equipment rental.

 

 Day 3              Start your day with breakfast whilst crossing Dicabaito Channel. Marvel in the spectacular beauty of the island¡¦s sandy beach and azure waters. After lunch, take a dip at Maquinit Hot Springs, noted for it¡¦s therapeutic mineral-rich waters. Cross the channel to Sico Cove and marvel at the beauty of Coron¡¦s awe-inspiring limestone cliffs and rock formations along the island¡¦s coastline.. Farewell dinner on the vessel¡¦s sundeck.

 

Day 4             Sail back to Coron where the crew will bid you farewell. Transfer to the airport for your flight to Manila. Depart Busuanga on Seair flight DG432, leaving at 0840 arrive Manila 0945, Depart Manila for Hong Kong.

 

COSTS

In regular twin or double cabin                                         US$ 450.00 per person

3rd/4th person in the same cabin                                                 US$ 300.00 per person

Surcharge for single cabin occupancy                              US$ 200.00

Children ages 12 & below sharing cabin with at least one adult US$ 100.00 per child

 

There is also the option of a night in Manila, at the Dusit Hotel Nikko US$55 per person, bed and breakfast basis.

 

 

Internal Flights

Airfare Manilla to Coron return US$ 110 per person.

Transfers from Manila International Airport to domestic terminals is available upon request, at extra charge.

 

Prices are based on two traveling together and sharing one Cabin.

Ø      Cabin, as booked, with all meals from Lunch on day 1 to breakfast on day 4.

Ø      Round trip air tickets Hong Kong - Manila ¡V Hong Kong.

Ø      Airport Tax, fuel surcharge and Airport security Charges.

Ø      Philippine Visa, if required.

Ø      Personal expenses for Liquor, wine, beverages and other items from the ship's bar. 

Ø      Souvenirs and sundries from ship's boutique.

Ø      Laundry (not available onboard).
