Tiger Mountain Pokhara Village

 

An ideal base from which to undertake the numerous trekking opportunities  of the Pokhara region, without  having to sleep in tents.

 

Tiger Mountain Pokhara Village is situated on a spectacular hilltop ridge, a thousand feet above Pokhara Valley, with panoramic views. The hand-cut stone bungalows are set in private gardens and maximize the breathtaking vistas. Each has a private verandah.

 

Day 1 Depart Hong Kong
  Arrive Katmandu
  Met on arrival and transfer to the hotel.

Day 2 Transfer to the airport
  Depart Katmandu by air
  Arrive Pokhara
  Guests are met and received at Pokhara airport for the half-hour drive to Tiger Mountain
  Pokhara Village. On arrival, a welcome briefing is followed by a chance to settle into the
  rooms.
   
  Al fresco Nepali lunch is served in a gazebo lookout.
   
  Afternoon activities can include a ridge top walk visiting local villages, pony rides
  through rice terraces and orchards, mountain and bird watching walks, or simply relaxing
  and enjoying the mountain atmosphere and spectacular views from the veranda of your
  room.
   
  Sunset drinks are enjoyed on the bar terrace or around the fire, followed by a western-
  style dinner in the main lodge dining room.
   
Day 3 Breakfast is served on the terrace courtyard of the main dining room

  Each daily programme is discussed individually and tailor made to suit guest’s personal
  interests and length of stay. Possibilities include a full day Gurung Villages Trek Circuit
  exploring the picturesque communities of Tulaswor, Tham and Lankachhar with a packed
  lunch. Take a more leisurely day excursion to Dipan Tal with hot lunch overlooking the
  lake. Alternatively, visit the town of Pokhara for sightseeing, shopping and a visit to
  Phewa Tal.
   
  On returning to  Tiger Mountain Pokhara Village, enjoy a hot tub, a swim in the pool or
  browse through the collection of historic Himalayan mountaineering and natural history
  books in the Col. Jimmy Robert’s Library. Evenings are enhanced with slide shows,
  videos and talks by the resident manager about the wildlife and climbing history of the
  region. Breakfast is served on the terrace court
   
  Half day excursions can include guided treks such as the Kafalbari Forest Walk, or
  escorted village visits, nature walks, pony rides, and mountain bike trips. These options
  can be combined with time spent painting, at photography, swimming or relaxing.
   
Day 7 After breakfast perhaps take a last guided walk in the Annapurna foothills before being
  transferred to Pokhara airport for departure.
