This is definitely the best way to tour Egypt. Why?

Because not only do you stay in Egypt's most superbly restored classic hotels, such as the Old Cataract, Aswan, (as seen in the Agatha Christie film "Death on the Nile"), but you can explore the ancient sites and monuments when there are far fewer visitors. You are visiting privately, not as a member of a tour group. Your driver/guide will know how to arrange your schedule in order to avoid the tour groups that tend to descend at the same times each day. You will have Egypt nearly to yourself.
