Day 1 Depart
Hong kong on
your chosen carrier for flight to Canada
Day 2 Arrival Vancouver. You will be met on arrival at Vancouver International Airport and transferred to your downtown Vancouver accommodation. Admission to The Lookout atop Vancouver Harbour Centre with spectacular views of the city, mountains and ocean is included. Overnight at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. |

Day 3 Vancouver to Kamloops.
Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer to Kamloops while enjoying the added comforts and amenities of GoldLeaf Service, including dining in the GoldLeaf Dining Room and viewing the spectacular scenery through dome windows. One of the highlights of today's journey is watching water torrent past the Fraser Canyon's walls at Hell's Gate, the canyon's narrowest point.
Upon leaving the
Fraser Canyon, the train will follow the Thompson River to the city of Kamloops.
Dinner is included this evening either at your Kamloops hotel or Two River
Junction Dinner & Musical Revue (at a reduced price). Overnight in
Kamloops.

Day 4 Kamloops
to Banff. Continue your
journey eastwards to the Canadian Rockies. First, you will travel through
vast ranchlands to Shuswap Lake. Next, pass Craigellachie, where the
"last spike" was driven completing the Canadian Pacific Railway in
1885. Beyond Craigellachie is Rogers Pass with its tunnels, glistening
glaciers, and snow capped-mountains. Before crossing over the Continental
Divide into Banff National Park, the train will travel through the unique
Spiral Tunnels in Yoho National Park, a remarkable engineering achievement.

Day 5 Banff to Lake Louise.
Today you
will meet your driver/guide, concierge and fellow travelers on a tour of Banff
and Yoho National Parks. Begin your tour with visits to the main attractions of
Banff townsite. Among the highlights are Bow Falls, the Cave and Basin Centre,
Banff Gondola, Surprise Corner and the
Hoodoos. After free time for lunch (not included) your journey takes you
into Yoho Park to view its natural wonders. The Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake
and a natural rock bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River are its main
points of interest. All touring today and tomorrow will be in a specially
designed motorcoach providing extra legroom and additional comfort. Overnight
at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

Day 6 Icefields Parkway Tour from Lake Louise
to Jasper. Continue your trip through the Canadian Rockies by travelling along one of the most scenic highways in the world, the Icefields Parkway. Among the highlights are Crowfoot Glacier, Peyto Lake, the Columbia Icefield, Sunwapta Falls and Athabasca Falls. The Icefield is one of the largest accumulations of ice south of the Arctic Circle in addition to being one of the most accessible ones in North America. It is here that you will ride a Snocoach to the middle of Athabasca Glacier to learn more about its geological features. Time will be available for lunch (cost of which is not included). Day 7 Jasper to Kamloops, GoldLeaf
Service.
Leaving Jasper onboard the Rocky Mountaineer you will pass by Mt Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies at 3954 meters (12,972 ft). Beyond Mount Robson Provincial Park, the train will follow the Thompson River through the snowy peaks of the Monashee and Cariboo Mountains and along rolling plateaus until it reaches the town of Kamloops, gateway to British Columbia's interior.
During today's
rail journey you will enjoy the added comforts and services of GoldLeaf

spectacular scenery through dome windows. Dinner is included this evening

Day 8 Kamloops
to Vancouver, GoldLeaf Service. Continue your journey westwards from Kamloops and travel along the Thompson
River to the Fraser Canyon. At Hell's Gate watch water torrent past the
canyon walls at its narrowest point, a true highlight of the canyon. Upon
leaving this region, the train will journey through the fertile Fraser Valley
to the coastal city of Vancouver. Overnight at
the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. |

Day 9 Vancouver Departure
After check out this morning transfer by limousine to Vancouver International
Airport where the Golden Circle Tour ends.
