Hong Kong is now a World City. With its new Airport and great communications it is the Economic hub of China for the Pearl River Delta Region. There are banks and businesses located here than in most comparable sized cities.

Weather and climate. Hong Kong is within the Tropics, being located just South of the Tropic of Cancer, it is nearly always warm. In the summer months can be quite humid. Most places, including the transport systems, are air conditioned to cope with this. We do also have a typhoon season, August to October, but the cities architecture has been built to withstand the strongest of these.
