Weather and climate. Hong Kong is within the Tropics, being located just South of the Tropic of Cancer, it is nearly always warm. In the summer months can be quite humid. Most places, including the transport systems, are air conditioned to cope with this. We do also have a typhoon season, August to October, but the cities architecture has been built to withstand the strongest of these.
